The Inevitable is here. Wow. I'm impressed with the speed. Lots of questions. Lots of potential. Second Life open sources its client side viewer code. How long till the server side gets opened? I'm guessing 9 months. Hell it already exists. Let the games

Second Life , the successful virtual reality space took a major step today by adding browser support. To my mind, this ups the ante considerably. It has already enjoyed a steadily growing user base, an in-world economy with an increasing real world value and such notable users as the Anneberg Foundation - Second Life has already made its mark as the pioneer for VR.
